On April 7, the Historic Cafés Route presented itself at the Forumul Economic in Chișinău (Moldova) around the newly developed tourism concept, which is being developed and implemented together with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Castel Mimi, Wine.md, the leading travel portal in Romania “Holidays in Romania / Urlaub in Rumänien” and further regional and interregional partners.
This year's edition took place in the presence of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Her Excellency Maia Sandu, Her Majesty Margaret - Custodian of the Romanian Crown, His Royal Highness Prince Radu, representatives of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, as well as ambassadors, business leaders, government officials and economic experts.
In his presentation, HCR President Arnold Klingeis explained the importance of overarching, common goals and actions to build up tourism and increase and stabilize the number of tourists / guests in the long term.
Mr. Joachim Alberth (HCR, Holidays in Romania) presented the tourism concept which is currently in preparation. He pointed out the unique potential to sustainably build up and promote the development of tourism together with the Historic Cafés Route and its members, but also through a comprehensive network and many local partners and institutions.
Almost 100 invited guests were welcomed to the Historic Cafés Route evening event at Castle Mimi. In addition to culinary highlights, interesting and in-depth presentations and discussions were held on the development of the tourism concept.

Mr. Stelian Brad, President of Cluj IT Cluster announced at Mimi Castle to support Historic Cafes Route and the Cultural Routes Program of the Council of Europe during the digitalisation process assisted by AI-Artificial Intelligence and AR-Augmented Reality to expand our project initiative from Cluj-Napoca to the Republic of Moldova.
