On #WorldTourismDay, the 13th Annual Consultative Forum of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe took place in Visegrad, Hungary.
Focused on "Transmission and Innovation - Fostering Youth Participation," the event discussed trends and challenges in connecting cultural heritage with youth.
Romania, with 50 tourist sites on 13 certified Cultural Routes, was represented by a delegation from the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism as well as from the Ministry of Culture.
The forum emphasized the need for tourism to evolve into a creative industry, offering unique stories and experiences to modern travelers.
