The Founder & President of the Association of the European Historic Cafes Association (EHICA) Vassilis Stathakis had an official visit on Thursday 19.12 with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova to Greece, Yiannis Theodoroglakis.
The purpose of the visit was to inform Mr. Theodoroglakis about the EHICA initiatives, and the organization of the 10th International Advisory Forum “Cultural Routes” of the Council of Europe to be held in Chania between 7-9 October 2020. Mr. Stathakis informed Mr. Theodoroglakis on the preparations of the Forum and the meetings he had recently with the Executive Secretary of the “Cultural Routes”, Stefano Dominioni. He also emphasized the importance of the Forum, which is expected to bring Chania, Crete to the forefront, promoting tourism and cultural entrepreneurship.
From his part, Mr. Theodoroglakis said that he will support the efforts of the Association, as well as mediate so Historic Cafes of Moldovia will soon be members of EHICA and participate in the new Cultural Route by the name “Historic Cafes Route”, that aims to receive certification from the Council of Europe.
